What do I need to start?

Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. You’ll need to supply a few core equipment essentials – those being: diving mask, diving fins, and snorkel. If the water temps are below 80 degrees, I also recommend that you bring a wetsuit. The rest of the gear will be provided and is included in your package price. I am happy to assist with finding the right equipment for you.

What will I do?

Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment care and techniques for effortless diving. You earn your Open Water Diver Certification by completing five confined water (pool) dives, knowledge development sessions, and by making four open water dives. PADI programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. You will never be rushed and each step along the way will be at your pace.
